We are seeking Community Support Workers to join one of our community-based day services in Salford. This service aims to provide extensive care, specialist positive behaviour support and promote independence and inclusion within the local community, in order to empower the individuals to take control of their own lives. The main focus is to provide the highest level of support in order to enable greater independence, choice and fulfilment for the individuals.

Working Pattern – 32.5 hours (full time) with part time hours also available. Hours range from - 8.00am through to 6.00pm Monday to Friday. Some evening and weekend work is also required which is on a rota. An enhanced payment is paid for weekend hours of +25% hourly rate.

Salary – £18,445.27 plus enhanced pay for weekend hours of +25% hourly rate. Full time equivalent salary £21,283.00.

Location - The Hub, Taylorson Street, Ordsall, Salford M5 a Together Trust Service. But you may be asked to start the working day in another location, for example Stockport.

We are looking to recruit more than one individual and part time working could be considered.

We are looking for Support Workers who have the ability and resilience to work with behaviour, which may challenge, in a caring and consistent manner, including the maintenance of appropriate boundaries for behaviour.
