Community Support Worker (Adults)

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our Adult Services Contact Team as a Community Support Worker Full Time 37 hours per week. The team provides a front door service to our Learning Disability Older People and Physical Disability care management social work teams. The key duties required for this role include
To work within relevant current legislation and the procedural framework of Bedford Borough Council.

To work collaboratively with service users and their families to assess their needs and plan and deliver services in accordance with the Care Act 2014 and other legislations applicable to Adult Services.

This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974. If your application is successful you will be required to declare any spent and unspent convictions, adult cautions (simple or conditional) that are not "protected" as defined by the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975 (as amended in 2013 and 2020).
