Responsibilities
• Manage day to day compliance monitoring and investigation activity
• Managing the candidate journey through the DfE compliance process
• Regularly audit company procedures, practices, and documents to identify possible weaknesses or risks
• Deal with all compliance queries
• Respond to all correspondence via email, post, telephone
Salary £22-25k. Recruitment experience could be a benefit but not essential, role would be suitable for someone experienced and happy in admin type roles.
• Have a good telephone mannerism
• May be required to sit in during interviews
• Attend quarterly meetings on compliance legislation changes
• Build extensive knowledge of compliance legislation
• Checking Right to Work status for each potential employee
• Have a good understanding of reading a CV, checking dates, experience, work periods from school leaving age and identify employment/study gaps in CV
• Carrying out DBS status checks for applicants providing they have the correct documentation according to the Disclosure and barring services regulations and acceptable documents.
• Request references and be familiar with referencing scenarios as to what is acceptable
• Ensure accuracy and currency of records, both paper and electronic systems and all databases
• Organising and booking training courses
• General administration duties including emailing, filing and scanning
• Ensuring the company database is updated accurately
• Completing and verifying background checks e.g. references, qualifications, criminal records,
