Compliance Analyst

Altum Consulting have exclusively partnered with a global, fast-paced, and growing Commodity Trading busienss based in London to find a Compliance Analyst to join their experinenced team.

About the Role:

This is a newly created position in the team reporting to the Senior Compliance Manager based here in the London office. This business prides itself on the company culture and requires everyone to be in the office 5 days a week. Our client is looking for an ambitious, tenatious person who wants to come to work to learn and to grow their career.

Key Responsibilities:

• Use compliance systems to undertake Client Due Diligence (CDD)
• Assisting in the development and implementation of compliance policies and procedures
• Compliance monitoring and testing reviews and provide direction on any issues that are detected by the reviews.
• Provide support in Compliance Testing and monitoring and complete peer reviews.
• Assisting with coordination and completion of the regulatory returns and regulatory applications in accordance with department operating procedures and as assigned by the line manager.

Qualifications/Experience:

• Commodities and/or derivatives market experience, at least 1 year +
• Experience with technology within the financial industry is a positive
• Previous Compliance knowledge is a big advantage, especially with regards to ICE/CME rules and regulations.
• Good communication skills (both written and verbal) are essential.
