Cranleigh STEM is working with a leading analytical chemical testing and consultancy organisation in Hampshire, we are looking for an experienced Compliance Manager to join its team on a permanent, full-time basis.
As the compliance Manager, You will play a key role in the business, ensuring compliance with ISO 17025 accreditation, overseeing AQC chart monitoring, creating validation packs for UKAS projects, and innovating new laboratory service methods.
To be considered you should hold a chemistry or closely related degree, possess previous analytical experience or technical knowledge of ICP, IC, GC-MS and a sound understanding of ISO 17025.
Salary: £45,000 - £50,000

Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the ISO 17025 accreditation process.
- Develop, implement, and oversee strategies to maintain ISO 17025 accreditation.
- Stay current with revisions to ISO 17025 standards and ensure ongoing compliance.
- Design, implement, and maintain an AQC chart monitoring program to ensure the quality and precision of the analytical processes.
- Collaborate with laboratory teams to assess chart data, identify trends, and initiate corrective actions when necessary.
- Report and communicate AQC chart findings to relevant stakeholders.
- Create and manage comprehensive validation packs for all projects requiring UKAS accreditation.
- Ensure that validation packs meet UKAS requirements and support the success of accreditation processes.
- Coordinate with project teams to collect and organize validation data.
- Innovate and develop new testing methods to expand our analytical capabilities.
- Collaborate with laboratory scientists and researchers to design, validate, and document new methods.
- Keep abreast of advancements in analytical techniques and industry best practices.
- Establish and maintain accurate records and documentation related to ISO 17025.
- Ensure that documentation reflects the latest standards and processes.
Requirements:
- Hold a BSc in Chemistry or a closely related subject.
- Proven expertise in compliance with ISO 17025 standards.
- Proficiency in analytical techniques and method development (ICP, IC, GC-MS)
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to precision.
