We are currently recruiting an experienced Regional Compliance Manager to oversee the compliance of two companies in the Tristone community (Sportfit Support Services Ltd & Premier Care Management) covering Dorset, Hampshire and the City of Bristol.
Both companies are an established provider of supported accommodation, bespoke education services and residential childrens homes, who have cemented an excellent reputation for delivering high-quality support for children, care leavers, and those that struggle to access mainstream education.
Ideally, to be considered for the Compliance Manager role, you will have the following:
- Previous compliance experience ideally in a social care setting
- Previous experience working with Ofsted
- Property management experience desirable
- Relevant qualification in health and safety, as well as knowledge in fire safety/regulations/GDPR
- Ability to work well independently as well as in a team
- People management and organisational experience
- Strong administration skills
- Highly organised with good attention to detail
- Ability to work in fast past environment
- Quick to learn and follow procedures
- Great communication both written and verbal
- Full UK driver's license and access to a car
Key tasks of a Compliance Manager will include, but will not be limited to:
- Monitoring and reporting operational compliance across all departments.
- Ensuring that all departments complete compliance responsibilities and there are no outstanding compliance items.
- Preparing compliance reports and distribute the documentation to the relevant manager or board. Including serious incident reporting
- Responsible for the day-to-day management of the external property maintenance & contractors.
- To co-ordinate all aspects of Health and Safety, chairing of Health and Safety meetings and reporting of serious incidents.
- Creation and Annual Review of Fire Risk Assessments/Fire Safety Plans.
- To be the fire marshal trainer
- Ensuring all fire safety equipment is serviced and tested annually.
- Reviewing Policies are compliant and up to date
- Overseer of GDPR compliance.
