The company assists over a million customers in creating prosperity for themselves and their families. They are looking for a Compliance Advice Manager to join their team, who can provide expert guidance and support to their advisers and business areas on various compliance matters.
Your new role
- Providing timely and accurate advice on regulatory requirements and expectations, including FCA rules, guidance, and best practices.
- Assessing the impact of regulatory change and ensuring that the business is prepared and compliant with new or amended regulations.
- Supporting business transformation projects and initiatives by providing compliance input and advice throughout the project lifecycle.
- Reviewing and approving financial promotions and other customer communications to ensure they are clear, fair, and not misleading.
- Advising on the implementation of the Consumer Duty and ESG principles and standards across business.
- Developing and delivering compliance training and awareness programs to enhance the compliance culture and competence of the business.
What you'll need to succeed
- A relevant professional qualification in compliance, risk management or financial services, such as CISI, ICA, CII or equivalent.
- At least 5 years of experience in a compliance advisory role within the financial services industry, preferably in wealth management or investment advice.
- A sound knowledge and understanding of the UK regulatory framework and the key regulatory developments affecting the financial services sector.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret and apply complex regulations and guidance to practical scenarios.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
- A proactive and flexible approach, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
