The Role:
As a Computer Science Teacher, you will be teaching Computer Science up to and including A level while ensuring effective planning and execution of lessons.
This role is suitable for both graduates and experienced teacher.
Responsibilities:
* Creation of high-quality resources for lessons and contribution to departmental resources.
* Utilisation of diverse teaching strategies to accommodate all pupil groups (more able, SEND, EAL).
* Integration of relevant ICT into teaching for enhanced learning and professional work.
* Monitoring pupil progress through various strategies.
* Use of internal assessments to monitor, track, and support pupil progress.
* Implementation of diverse feedback strategies to communicate attainment, progress, and areas for development.
* Participation in department and whole school discussions and initiatives in assessment and feedback.
* Engagement in ongoing professional development within the schools formal program and independently.
Requirements:
* Experience in delivering lessons for the 11 to 18 age range.
* Strong knowledge of relevant subject and excellent teaching skills.
* Possess honours degree.
* Hold a Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
