The Role:

As a Computer Science Teacher, you will be teaching Computer Science up to and including A level while ensuring effective planning and execution of lessons.

This role is suitable for both graduates and experienced teacher.

Responsibilities:

-Creation of high-quality resources for lessons and contribution to departmental resources.
-Utilisation of diverse teaching strategies to accommodate all pupil groups (more able, SEND, EAL).
-Integration of relevant ICT into teaching for enhanced learning and professional work.
-Monitoring pupil progress through various strategies.
-Use of internal assessments to monitor, track, and support pupil progress.
-Implementation of diverse feedback strategies to communicate attainment, progress, and areas for development.
-Participation in department and whole school discussions and initiatives in assessment and feedback.
-Engagement in ongoing professional development within the schools formal program and independently.

Requirements:

-Experience in delivering lessons for the 11 to 18 age range.
-Strong knowledge of relevant subject and excellent teaching skills.
-Possess honours degree.
-Hold a Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). (Desirable)
-Post-graduate qualification. (Desirable)
-Background in working with all pupil groups (more able, SEND, EAL). (Desirable)
