Conference Event Manager
The business is growing rapidly and is now looking for someone to play a key role in our events management team based in Leeds. The role is full time, permanent and office based.
Reporting to the Conference Ops Director the role is varied and busy and you will be instrumental in the overall successful delivery of the UKREiiF event plan.
Duties & Responsibilities -
- Prime responsibility is to manage an event plan for a specific site area at our annual event
- Supported by, and reporting to, the Conference Ops Director
- Lead on event development action plans from inception to live activation for sponsor clients for each of their respective site areas
- Negotiate and manage suppliers
- Clear communication and exceptional organisation skills essential
- Responsibility for event logistics and accompanying health & safety, and risk factors
- Setting, communicating and maintaining timelines and priorities
- Applicants must be able to demonstrate previous live on-site event management experience and share outcomes and learnings
Skills & Experience -
- Experience of Business events is essential
- An all-rounder with the ability to multi-task. This is a very busy business, and the occupant of this role will be subject to constant demands
- A self-motivated individual able to manage their own time effectively to meet the demands of the job and to prioritise effectively
- An individual who is not afraid to put forward ideas and alternatives and will be comfortable highlighting problems and proposing solutions
- Good IT skills, particularly Excel. Knowledge or experience of Cvent event management software an advantage
