This part of the business specializes in complete vehicle integration and support solutions, including the Protected Mobility Engineering Technical Support (PMETS) contract which places NP Aerospace as engineering authority for the UK Ministry of Defence protected mobility fleet including Mastiff, Foxhound, and Jackal.The Vehicle Systems, Services and Spares (VSSS) team has over 25 years of experience leading complex military vehicle integrations and has supported over 2,000 vehicle platforms. Lead the development and deployment of a companywide Configuration Management process. 2. Develop and maintain Project Configuration and Data Management Plans ensuring the processes are driven into those Projects through education and training. 3. Assess urgent Configuration control demands and provide decisions commensurate with priority and Project lifecycle stage. 4. Delivery of process change that meets the immediate demands by introducing a degree of flexibility whilst retaining control within the bounds of Company procedures. 5. The delivery into Projects the configuration management of Product (Hardware, Software, Document) from 'cradle to grave' as defined by UK Standard DEF-STAN 05-57. 6. Review, update and implement a companywide Configuration Management Process. 7. Conduct reviews of all Project Configuration Management Plans and update. 8. Educate the wider Project team on Configuration Management tools and techniques. 9. Update Configuration Status Records and Accounts for all products.The above statements are not intended to be an exhaustive list of all duties and responsibilities required.EXPERIENCEREQUIREDDegree in an appropriate scientific, technical, engineering, or similar subject.DESIREDMA, MSc, or PhD in an appropriate scientific, technical, engineering, analytical, mathematical, social sciences, humanities or similar subject.Experience of using tools to support design release, baseline control and Change management (Windchill PDM tool, MCAD (Creo), DOORS, Software CM tools and SAPCertified Auditor capable of leading process and Configuration auditsMembership of or working towards membership of relevant professional body
