We're making Hampshire County Council web services and information simple and clear for the residents, visitors and businesses of Hampshire. Our digital products and services must be accessible to everyone. To do this, we are looking for a Content Designer who can create web pages that put the focus on the user experience.
You will be working in the Web Content Team in the IT department. You will be expected to work with others across the organisation. This could mean working with front-end and back-end developers, graphic designers, data protection coordinators, legal teams and senior management.
If you want to join the team, you will need to be:
- a clear and accurate writer, taking complex language and processes and making them easy to understand;
- a champion for user-focused, accessible design;
- experienced with content management systems (CMS);
- comfortable using HTML and CSS code;
- confident and clear when explaining your design choices.
