What to expect
This Content Manager role is integral to the dynamic Marketing team, reporting directly to the Head of Creative and Content. You’ll help us deliver our content strategy, planning content for Christmas - helping our customers get ready for peak season. As well as working in partnership with our agencies to deliver content over the Summer to highlight our DE&I priority (supporting the financially vulnerable). You’ll be critical in the creative development, planning and strategy of these and other projects. Working closely with the wider business to ensure we are supporting the sales funnel and customer experience with fantastic content. You’ll monitor & share progress. And identify opportunities for content amplification.
We have an internal creative production studio, and it would be advantageous for the applicant to be involved in the output produced. By either copywriting, developing creative briefs, storyboarding, filming, editing, presenting, graphic design work…etc.
This is a critical role, shaping the brand purpose, driving revenue, customer satisfaction, and profitability for Post Office.

What you’ll need to succeed
- Demonstrable experience in media, brand and influencer marketing, with hands-on experience in both strategic and tactical execution.
- A commercial understanding that enables you to report results and guide future decisions.
- Financially astute, ability to understand performance and drive results.
- Strong internal and external stakeholder management.
- Possesses a creative eye and copywriting ability.
- The ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously with tight deadlines
- Strong written and verbal communication skills (in terms of report writing, presentations etc.) for a wide variety of internal and external stakeholders, up to senior management level.
- Excellent influencing skills and the ability to interact and build relationships with colleagues both within and outside of the Post Office, up to senior management level.
- Likes to engage and challenge the norm; able to negotiate with and provide constructive feedback to others to achieve a successful outcome.
- Highly organised approach to work; with a strong focus on accuracy, production processes and producing high quality work
- Results oriented and solution focused, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously with tight deadlines
- Can demonstrate decisive delivery and the ability to be proactive.
