Content Marketing Executive

Are you passionate about crafting compelling content that engages and resonates with audiences? We are on an exciting journey at MGF and we're recruiting for a Content Marketing Executive to join our growing team, based at our Head Office in Ashton in Makerfield.
Reporting to the Head of Marketing, you will be responsible for internal and external content creation, working with team members, departments, and customers to drive the MGF brand forward. You'll be at the forefront of creating and implementing innovative content strategies that captivate our target audience and elevate our brand presence across various marketing channels.
Your key responsibilities may include:
Write, edit and proof-read press releases, newsletters, blogs and marketing material copy
Establish and leverage media relationships, respond to media requests and pitch relevant content to different media outlets
Support the creation of the PR and Communication strategy to grow brand presence in existing and new market segments
Research and develop both original content and generate thought leadership content
Liaise with different departments to develop relevant content
Creating case studies capturing our CSR, public engagement and project activity
Supporting the creation of any photography or video footage
Creation and delivery of MGF’s newsletter
Creation and submission of awards
Supporting sales and lead generation efforts
Supporting in organising, running and participating in any conferences and exhibitions
Closely monitor all campaign activity, ensuring quality is as expected
Skills and experience:
Public Relations, Communications, Marketing and/or English qualification
BA/BS or equivalent working experience
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong proficiency in copy writing
Knowledge of CMS (Wordpress, etc.) and analytic tools (Google Analytics)
Knowledge of email marketing tools (Mailchimp, Spotler etc.)
Proven ability to translate brand strategy into engaging content
