SalaryAn excellent opportunity has become available for a multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team on an ongoing contract basis. This is 2s and 3s days and nights 12 hour shifts.
As a Contract Maintenance Engineer, you will be required to carry out preventative and reactive maintenance on production equipment, utility systems, and building facilities. This is a hands-on role where you will be troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems across different manufacturers.
Core Responsibilities:
- Conducting planned preventative maintenance work during both day and night shifts
- Responding quickly to breakdowns and faults to minimize downtime
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and maintenance manuals
- Diagnosing faults accurately and rectifying issues professionally
- Installing new plant, equipment and machines as required
- Completing maintenance paperwork and documenting work undertaken
The ideal engineer will have experience working on rotating equipment, conveyors, motors, pumps, and pneumatic/hydraulic controls. You will be used to working with minimal supervision and taking ownership of your tasks.
