A leading construction Drylining company with a robust plan and secure funding, is seeking an experienced and motivated Site Manager/Contracts Manager to join our dynamic team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual with a proven track record in site management, procurement, and surveying, who is adept at coordinating projects across various locations.
Responsibilities:
- Site Management: Oversee day-to-day operations on construction sites, ensuring efficiency, safety, and compliance with regulations.
- Contracts Management: Manage and coordinate contracts, liaising with suppliers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery.
- Business Development: Utilize your network and business acumen to secure new business opportunities and build strong relationships within the industry.
- Material Procurement: Efficiently handle the procurement of materials, ensuring timely delivery and cost-effectiveness.
- Surveying: Conduct site surveys, analyze data, and provide insights to enhance project planning and execution.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with labor agencies to ensure a skilled and motivated workforce is available for project needs.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in site management, contracts management, and procurement within the construction industry.
- Strong computer skills, particularly in project management software and Microsoft Office.
- Ability to manage multiple sites simultaneously, with experience overseeing construction projects in London and Oxford.
- Knowledge of apartment, office, theatre, hotel, and Premier Inn construction projects.
- Effective communication and negotiation skills.
- Flexibility to travel between sites (1-1.5 hours travel time).
