Here's what you'll be doing

The E.ON I&C Pillar combines the current nPower nBS & E.ON B2B businesses to create a new £5billion revenue business serving c60,000 customers and around 300,000 meter points with a view to becoming the number one B2B energy supplier in the UK.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Contract Specialist to join our Contract & Performance team. For this role you will be responsible for the relationship and overall performance management of E.ON Industrial and Commercial (I&C) IT Partners and Suppliers, maximising the value of the services delivered in a complex eco system environment, supporting Service Operations and both the Change Management and Digital Data & Technology areas. This role is based in Solihull, with hybrid working.

Key responsibilities

  • Maintain and publish the central repository for all reporting on Partner and Supplier performance against service metrics working with them and Service Operations area to ensure consistency in reporting.
  • Responsible for driving performance and service improvement plans specific to the relevant Partners and Suppliers.
  • Manage the escalation of under-performance, remediation, and contingent measures through formal governance bodies.
  • Responsible for reporting on the I&C IT contract renewal position, to ensure contracts and licenses are assessed and renegotiated in a timely manner; to avoid adverse impact to the operational business.
  • Accountable for the overall operational governance, their alignment to service demand and their integration with other internal and external service providers.
  • Working with the Partners and Suppliers and Service Operations team contribute to strategic direction for service measurement and SLA/KPI regimes for all providers to E.ON I&C.
  • Ensure that all services are clearly defined and implemented within a strategy that aligns with E.ON I&C business objectives and outcomes and the service delivery framework.
  • Ensure changes, releases and projects are assessed for their impact on other services by Partner and Supplier representatives through the appropriate governance forums.

What we need from you

  • Experience in managing a function involving comprehensive managed services.
  • Detailed knowledge and experience of managing Global 3rd Party Suppliers, driving high performance delivery.
  • Demonstrable experience of successfully managing SLA / KPI performance.
  • Commercial, Contract and Supplier Performance Management experience.
  • Awareness of IT contracts and commercial models.
  • Understanding of how IT services support the key business processes.

It would be great if you had

  • Knowledge of Outsourcing / Global Delivery methodologies.
  • Industry knowledge and experience or understanding of the structure and organisation of utilities and their core activities.
