Our client is a market leading engineering and manufacturing business located in the Wolverhampton area.
The business is currently looking to bring in a Contracts Specialist for a 12–month FTC position, the role will involve carrying out all admin to do with customer and internal contracts marking sure that all contracts are compliant with compliance standards set out by the business.
Key Responsibilities Contract Specialist
Process customer purchase order requirements in the company ERP system and tracking progress until sales orders are generated.Issuing formal acknowledgments and providing regular updates to customers regarding the status of their orders.Evaluating contractual terms within customer purchase orders to ensure compliance, consistency, and risk mitigation.Generating and delivering quotations to customers via the company CRM tool,Supporting the Contracts Team Lead and/or Contracts Manager in preparing and submitting proposals as necessary.Collaborating with other departments to deliver quotations and updates to customers efficiently.Maintaining an accurate and easily accessible filing and archiving system. Bachelors degree or equivalent in business management or contract lawTwo years experience minimum in a customer environment, or contracts and commercial operations.Proficiency in utilizing SAP–ERP systemsDemonstrated capability to maintain high productivity levels both independently and as part of a team.Ability to effectively prioritize tasks and meet tight customer deadlines.Exceptional communication abilities.Comprehensive understanding and application of contract clauses such as warranties and remedies.Familiarity with and application of UK and US Government regulations, including DEFCONs, FARs, and DFARS.
