My client, a well known charity, is looking to recruit a Contracts and Procurement Manager to join the procurement team. Reporting into the Senior Procurement & Contracts Manager the focus of this role will be tosupport the procurement and contract management teams across GambleAware whilst being responsible for supporting contract and Procurement activity, processes and relationships including tenders, grant rounds and partnerships and executing a range of associated agreements and documents. you will also develop positive relationships and networks with all stakeholders.
Day to day your role will include:
- Champion relevant strategies and policies across the organisation and provide accurate, robust advice to teams considering options for procurement and commissioning
- Support departments and teams, by leading the work on tenders to make sure they are planned effectively and delivered in a fair, open, and transparent way
- Develop agreements for GambleAware's commissioning work; liaising with leads and subject matter experts to make sure requirements are captured and contracts are set to maximise the delivery of agreed outcomes and outputs
- Support calls for expressions of interest and grant rounds with a clear understanding of the differences between grants and contracts/service agreements
- Take responsibility for the continuous maintenance of procurement pages and information on GambleAware's website
- Create accurate and timely procurement and contract information (Key Performance Indicators) to support contract monitoring and management
- Have a clear and detailed expertise around contract documentation and clauses to achieve the most effective and proactive analysis and monitoring of performance
- Adhere to financial processes and assist with the process of audits and subsequence compliance with recommendations
- Maintain accurate records and control logs
- Ensure relevant due diligence is carried out for new suppliers and annual diligence reviews for suppliers in contract takes place
- Work closely with subject matter experts, contract leads and finance colleagues to make sure that contract monitoring, and performance management is rigorous and effective
This role requires an individual who can demonstrate experience in providing best practice contract management and Procurement as well as a background in agreeing KPIs, a background in contract drafting and experience of supporting teams through whole contract life cycles. Public sector procurement experience is also required for this role.
This is a permanent role with 2 days a week required in the London office. Salary on offer is £47-54k.
