Contracts Manager (IT Procurement)

Experience

This is a leadership role and responsible for the commercial deliverables to establish the design and subsequent implementation of the future system operator. Responsible for the delivery of the workstream on behalf of its executive sponsor and under the supervision of the FSO programme the role will drive the timely completion of the activities and ensure integrity and coherence with the rest of the programme.

Working as part of the transition workstream, The Contracts Lead will be responsible for ensuring an assured and complete separation of contractual services.

• Detailed knowledge of the contractual requirements of the FSO from its providers and suppliers.
• Support discussions with my client regarding the agreement of the disposition and treatment of each contract?.
• Working with my clients contract and procurement experts, Define and deliver against a plan to ensure separation of contractual arrangements for services required by the FSO business.
• Support procurement, negotiation, and setup of new contracts for the FSO where a new capability is required.
• Track costs, progress, and risks regarding the contract disposition.
• Support the creation of procurement and contracting functions with FSO.
• Identify improvements in process without compromising cost, service, or control.
• Actively work to understand and address procurement and supplier needs, acting on feedback to improve efficiency and effectiveness where appropriate.
• Manage external and internal stakeholders including but not limited to Suppliers, Legal, other project team members and wider procurement teams such that expectations are managed and required outputs are delivered.
