An award winning, reputable Contractor are currently looking to recruit a Contracts Manager to join them on a permanent basis.
The company have gone from strength to strength each year and have an exciting growth plan in place, with a healthy pipeline of work in place. Due to recently winning new contracts which are due to commence imminently, they are looking to expand their team.
They currently have an opportunity for an experienced Senior level Contracts Manager to join them on a permanent basis. You will be managing and have overall responsibility for multiple Renewables/Retrofit/M&E schemes within the Social Housing & Commercial sectors across the North West, ensuring each contract is delivered within time and budget.
Additional duties include:
- Managing weekly/monthly programmes
- Assist with pricing tenders, PQQs etc.
- Ensuring each scheme under your remit is adequately resourced.
- Attend regular progress meetings.
- Maintain a positive relationship with all staff, client etc.
- Programming and planning all works
- Managing site teams consisting of Site Managers/Foreman/Tradesmen
- Being the company representative at Client meetings
- Recruitment of staff, organising trades and labour
- Ensuring KPI's are being achieved
- General delivery of the contract
- Maintaining high health, safety & quality standards and ensuring a positive attitude towards SHEQ.
You must have:
- A background in the social housing refurbishment sector, ideally with retrofit/renewables experience.
- M&E experience/background is ideal but not essential.
- CSCS Black, SMSTS, First Aid
