At LandscapeCare, we pride ourselves on providing comprehensive commercial grounds maintenance services tailored to our clients' needs.
Our grounds maintenance team works all year round carrying out regular maintenance visits to commercial sites to keep them looking consistently tidy and smart. We look after all manner of properties, from large industrial sites to hotel grounds.
About the role:
As our new Service Manager / Contracts Manager / Team Leader, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of maintenance services across all sites. Your responsibilities will include:
Scheduling: Organising contracted maintenance visits throughout the year to meet client requirements. Communication: Maintaining regular and effective communication with technicians and on-site contacts, providing guidance and support as needed. Training and Development: Leading the training and development efforts for maintenance technicians to enhance their skills and efficiency. Site Audits: Conducting thorough site audits on customers' premises to uphold quality standards, with a minimum of 2 audits per year. Recruitment: Recruiting additional operatives as necessary to meet workload demands and ensure adequate staffing levels. On-the-Tools Maintenance: Undertaking on-the-tools maintenance work as required, covering for holidays, sickness, and other maintenance needs. Equipment Management: Managing and servicing tools and equipment, and coordinating with the vehicle management team for effective maintenance and use.Your role will also involve providing leadership to the team, offering support, guidance, and motivation to ensure their success. You'll be responsible for efficiently running maintenance schedules and maintaining high standards of service across all sites.
You'll report to our Sales Director, and will be accountable for the performance and development of the maintenance team.
Who we are looking for:
The candidate for this role needs to be flexible and be able to adapt to the ongoing progression. Previous experience within commercial landscaping would be greatly desired.
The candidate must be competent in the use of IT and be able to use our online scheduling system.
The candidate will need to be very prepared to roll their sleeves up and get involved on-site at any point to ensure excellent customer service.
