A Contracts Manager / Planned Maintenance Manager is needed to join a leading height safety specialist company based in Glasgow. Utilising your experience from construction / industrial roofing or similar expect to lead a team tasked with improving the service to existing and new recertification clients.
Founded in 2009, and fully accredited, this competent and experienced company specialise in the design, manufacturing, installation and maintenance of fall protection & access systems. They also offer a range of planned and preventative maintenance services to ensure that buildings and asset portfolios remain in the best possible condition. Working from the Glasgow office, the Contracts Manager / Planned Maintenance Manager will build the business by understanding clients needs whilst selling a full range of products, services and training courses via a consultative approach.
Joining as the Contracts Manager / Planned Maintenance Manager you will be tasked with identifying new business areas and delivering effective account management to ensure customer satisfaction and foster long-term relationships. You will be engaging in cross-selling activities and providing support across departments. You will oversee the Department, including managing engineers, exceeding revenue targets, renewing contracts, and ensuring compliance with safety and training standards. The responsibilities extend to external engagements, contract management, continuous improvement, and representation in health and safety meetings.
To qualify... You could be a Contracts Manager / Planned Maintenance Manager / Site Manager / Recertification Manager / Fall Protection Specialist / Fall Protection Operations Lead or similar with a cv that demonstrates:
- Strong background in client relationship management to ensure long-term satisfaction.
- Effective communication skills for client engagement and coordination across departments.
- Leadership and organizational skills for managing a team of engineers in the Department.
- Ability to exceed revenue targets and ensure compliance with safety and training standards.
- Expertise in contract management, prompt issue resolution, and regular reporting to senior management.
- Educational qualifications in business, or a related field, with relevant certifications being desirable.
- UK Driving Licence
- A-C Maths and English GCSE or equivalent.
- Candidates must have the right to work in the UK.
