My client is one of London’s leading interior specialist sub-contractors working alongside blue chip contractors on some of the most prestigious landmark commercial office projects in the Central London. They have a young, vibrant workforce and are a market leader.
The Contracts Manager Role
They have an exciting opportunity for a Contracts Manager to strengthen their contracts team and manage the implementation and delivery of projects on behalf of their clients. Their projects are delivered on a sub-contract basis and include specialist joinery packages and glazed partitioning packages.
The Contracts Manager Roles & Responsibilities Include:
- You will be responsible for the day to day operations of all aspects of project delivery
- Build good relations with the client and project team
- Ensure all aspects of the build process are satisfactorily completed on time and within cost and to the highest possible standards
- Be able to carry out perfect delivery and produce snag free jobs
- Must be able to run at least two contracts at one time
- Liaison with construction teams and landlords and clients
- Design control and coordination, directly liaise with designers
- Management of Site Manager and site teams
- Manage all aspects of build process
- Visit sites at least one day a week
The Successful Contracts Manager:
- You will ideally have experience working within a Specialist Interior Fit-Out Subcontractor with a proven track record in the installation of packages in areas such as Joinery, Glazed Partitions, Ceilings, Dry wall, etc.
- Understands the pre-construction process
- Can organise and manage the design phase of a project
- Able to collate information from his team to prepare and present the project report.
- Understanding of how to comply with a H&S policy and H&S management system
