Job: Contracts Manager
Location: Dartford & Surrounding
Salary: £60,000 - £70,000
Role: Social Housing Repairs
My client are are specialists in safely delivering property maintenance services in both the public and private sectors. They have more than 50 years’ experience working across all property sectors including housing associations, educational institutions and local authorities. We have the capacity and capability to provide a first-rate service in a diverse range of works and this is demonstrated by the successful completion of numerous contracts during our time in business.
Due to expansion and growth, there is a great opportunity for a Contracts Manager to join. This role is within the social housing maintenance sector covering repairs contracts in Dartford and surrounding, the main office is based in Dartford.
This is a fast-paced role which requires excellent organisational and interpersonal skills, and will involve: Managing contracts to achieve targets in respect of safety, time, cost, quality and customer satisfaction. Managing people, sub-contractors and processes to ensure that all works are controlled and delivered within the time frames required and that they meet the minimum standard set by the Clients KPI’s. Ensuring an excellent customer experience at all times.
Duties include:
- Client contract delivery, in, customer relationships and management of relevant teams
- P&L, cash flow and costs
- Able to manage others to deliver multiple projects at the same time
- Good communicator and have experience dealing with clients and subcontractors
- Must have good IT skills and be able to use word and outlook
- Able to produce construction programmes (MS Projects ideally)
- A flexible, “can do” attitude and want to work as part of a team
- Able to produce and deliver progress reports
- Must be able to manage the H&S, quality and programme performance on their projects via their management team
Requirements:
- Contracts manager experience
- Social housing experience
- UK Driving licence
- SMSTS/SSSTS (Preferred but not essential)
- IOSH (Preferred but not essential)
