Job Description
A highly successful fit out contractor who specialise in delivering high quality fit outs for the leisure and retail sectors are looking to appoint a Contracts Manager. The role will involve overseeing 2-3 nationwide contracts, so some travelling will be required.The Contracts Manager will play a pivotal role in overseeing and managing the full lifecycle of projects ranging in value from £500k to £3m. From inception to completion, you will be the driving force ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and surpassing client expectations.
Responsibilities will include:
* Ensure that all works are carried out safely and in accordance with current legislation and company policies.
* Collaborate with project teams to establish project requirements and timelines.
* Conduct regular site visits to ensure quality standards are met and safety protocols are followed.
* Maintain good relationships with existing clients and their representatives, and also establishing new ones.
* Responsible for all aspects of onsite Health & Safety to ensure compliance with legislation and company procedures
* Cost management with the assistance and support of the commercial team
* Providing support and coaching for your team, identifying their strengths and weaknesses, and encouraging improvements for future career development.
* Managing and maintaining links between the projects team and other company departments.
Key Requirements:
* Previous experience in a similar role within the fit out industry is essential
* Possess good leadership and motivational skills
* Strong commercial acumen.
* Possess strong communication skills and be fully IT literate
