Techniche Global are supporting a leading engineering technology company (based in Aberdeen) to appoint a number of Control Systems Engineers and Control Systems Support Engineers.
The two roles can offer either a bias towards office based or site based working – hybrid working is also available. For those that want more site work there are associated uplifts and enhancements that will contribute to enhanced salaries.
They are open to consider any industry background – key experience will be exposure to PLC, SCADA & Control Systems technologies. This can be from a maintenance environment or technician background (modifications, debugging etc), from an electrical background with PLC exposure, or from a Projects development background.
Our client is hiring across varying levels of experience and as such, salaries willbe dependent upon experience – circa £30k - £70k DOE (OTE made up of a base salary and allowances depending on any site uplifts)
The roles come with an annual bonus (5% or 10%), Private Healthcare, Life Assurance, Company pension (up to 11% matched) & various other corporate benefits. The roles are full time based at the Technology Center in Tunbridge Wells (Mon-Fri office based). Overtime and site uplifts are paid for any future site work.
We have various positions available across the company to suit the following background skills and ability:
- Entry Level: Open to foundation skills that technicians and maintenance engineers may gain from maintaining existing site in a facility. PLC debugging, small code modifications, upgrades etc.
- Mid: Some ability with PLC software (any vendor considered; Siemens, Rockwell, GE, Wonderware etc).
- Senior: Established PLC & Control systems engineering. Strong documentation experience
- Lead: Ability to coordinate customer requirements, lead technical elements of a project, direct a team of engineers etc.
Sectors: Will consider all industry knowledge. Recent appointments have ranged from Warehouse Automation, Water industry maintenance, Control Systems development in Automotive, manufacturing etc. As well as some from Process control sectors such as pharma.
