Your new companyOur client is a multi-award winning Legal Firm in the heart of Liverpool City Centre, operating as part of a wider legal business which operates across the UK. Due to expansion and internal promotions, there is now an exciting opportunity for an experienced conveyancing professional to join this well-established, growing team as a full-time permanent role Conveyancing Assistant.Your new roleIn this role you will sit within the Property Law department. Your key duties will be typing up letters, bills, emails and court documents; handling all land registry forms, SDLT's, TR1'S etc, as well as providing diary management and meeting arrangements for senior fee-earners. You will be working as part of a large and friendly support services team, engaging in email and telephone correspondence both internally across departments and externally with clients. It's an exciting opportunity to take on a role with high levels of responsibility and autonomy, and expand your expertise within Property/Conveyancing.What you'll need to succeedThe client is looking for someone who needs minimal training on essential legal secretary functions - it is necessary that you are experienced with Land Registry forms, SDLTs, TR1s etc, and it is desirable that you are familiar with BigHand or other dictation systems. You will need to be a confident communicator, highly organised, and able to handle your own busy workload with little supervision. What you'll get in returnYou'll receive a starting salary of between 25-28k and be offered standard working hours of 9-5:30pm on Monday-Thursday and then 9-5 on Fridays.
