We have a vacancy for an experienced Conveyancing Legal Assistant or Conveyancing Legal Secretary, with a progressive, forward-thinking, CQS-accredited law firm, based at their well-established office in Nuneaton. The firm employ around 50 staff and offer a really friendly and supportive working environment.
The role will involve:
- Providing one to one support to a busy Conveyancing Fee Earner
- File Opening
- Setting up files for new clients and carrying out the relevant checks
- Liaising with clients and third party professionals by phone, email and face to face
- Carrying out searches
- Use of the Land Registry portal
- Dealing with completion statements
- Audio and copy typing of correspondence and legal documents
Suitable candidates will have
- A minimum of one to two years’ experience within residential conveyancing
- Experience of using the Land Registry portal and legal case management systems
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
This is a full-time permanent job which is fully office-based, working 9am to 5.15pm Monday to Friday.
