Copy Editor, 6 Months, 190/day, Inside IR35, Hybrid

Parity Group are delighted to partner with our client, a renowned public sector organisation, who are looking to recruit a Copy Editor, on an initial 6 month contract basis.

You will receive a daily rate of 180 and the contract will see you INSIDE IR35.

You will elevate the organisations written communications and provide wider communications support to the team. As a Senior Copy Editor with additional communications responsibilities, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the clarity, consistency, and impact of written communication both internally and externally.

Key Responsibilities and Experience required:

• Exceptional writing and editing skills - able to produce a clear narrative with a keen eye for detail and a strong command of grammar and style.
• Experience of aligning and contributing to brand message, voice, and digital presentation.
• Support the growth and development of colleagues by providing constructive feedback and mentoring.
• Inspire others to understand and embrace the importance of clear and accurate written communication.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively speak and collaborate with diverse teams and external stakeholders.
• The ability to win the confidence of journalists and expert commentators as a credible source of information and guidance in specialist areas.
• Experience in delivering writing training and workshops.
• Previous experience working with scientific/technical authors.
