Job Description

You will assist in the planning, design and implementation of business applications, including Business Intelligence systems.

Essential Criteria

• Minimum of a degree in Business, Computer Science (or equivalent with focus on databases and data modelling) or a related field OR alternatively, possess a minimum of 2 years relevant experience working in a similar post.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in a role which has had a significant element of data analysis and presentation.
• Minimum of 2 years experience of working with large relational databases and data management tools
• Experience of working with a range of stakeholders in interpreting their business systems requirements and translating this into line business applications
• Experience of BI tools particularly Power BI, focused primarily on presentation and data mining.
• Experience with Azure Data Factory and Azure Synapse

Desirable Criteria

• Project / Programme Management accredited, (e.g. Prince2 or MSP)
• Possess a Professional development qualification in object oriented relational database architecture, DSS and transactional data modelling.
• Experience with the complexities of cross-functional issue identification, prioritisation and resolution
• Experience in the use of data modelling tools (e.g. UML)
• Experience of translating and modelling Corporate Business decision support and KPI requirements into a `self-service¿ reporting framework
• Experience of using an I.T. system on a post implementation basis, preferably within an ITIL environment
