One of my Local Authority clients based in the South are currently on the search for an interim Corporate Health & Safety Officer to assist within their existing team.
Corporate Health & Safety Officers will be expected to:
Key Deliverables
- Review, write and advise on Health & Safety policies and procedures.
- Conduct internal/external Health & Safety investigations.
- Review risk assessments submitted to the Council from third parties.
Suitable applicants will already have over 2 years’ experience within Local Government Health & Safety roles.
Additional role information
Hours per week: 24 or 37
Contract Length: 12 Months
Working Pattern: 2 days onsite, the rest remotely (This can be done one week on district and with the following spent remotely)
Rate: DoE – paid through Umbrella.
Start Date: ASAP
