The Regional Protective Services team is a core part of GAP with members based out of various regions of the world.
Job Summary
Join Accenture's dynamic team as the Employee Assistance Senior Manager (for EMEA reg). This position is GAP’s primary responder for various incidents/emergencies involving individual employees. These incidents include but are not limited to medical situations, missing persons, workplace violence, traveller security issues, etc. They will be the liaison between Accenture’s Security Operation Center (ASOC) and the various key stakeholders in these matters, such as Employee Relations, Human Resources, Workplace, Legal, IT, Travel, etc.
As an experienced professional in responding to and handling various personnel crises, they will provide strategic guidance and ensure the accurate support teams are informed and engaged in responding to and supporting our employees during emergency situations. By applying their expertise to provide strategic guidance, assess potential risks, and partner with our wider Accenture support team, they will play a key role in assuring the safety of Accenture’s people.
Responsibilities/Accountabilities:
Primary point of contact for individual emergency calls from the ASOC for the EMEA region. Some of these calls will need to be handled exclusively by GAP and others may need additional support teams to assist, such as Employee Relations.
Primary escalation path for relevant incidents raised through our partners, such as Employee Relations, Human Resources, or Workplace.
Develop training plans for GAP and Accenture partners to ensure collective readiness and clear lines of responsibility when handling relevant crises.
Lead the behavioural Threat Assessment Team (BTAT) training and operations
Develop and maintain strategic relationships across Employee Relations, Legal, HR, Workplace, IT, Travel, etc.
Maintain accurate reporting records to supervise trends and identify which incidents may require additional support/resources.
Work directly with GAP’s Managers to ensure they are informed and supported for employee crises taking place in their respective regions, especially those that could have broader impact on our facilities’ security posture.
Ensure GAP’s guidance and response actions are aligned with Accenture’s Policies.
25% of travel will be required as part of the position
