This firm are recognised as one of the UK's top-tier sports law firm catering to prominent names in sports and media industries. Their clientele includes national and international governing bodies, broadcasters, clubs, sponsors, investors, entrepreneurs, digital media and technology companies, and high-profile athletes.
The firm are now recruiting for a 1 - 3 PQE Corporate lawyer to advise on M&A, joint ventures, investment and shareholder agreements, funding, development and structuring of new sport's properties. The scope of work will include advising on the establishment and growth of new leagues and competitions, investment into governing bodies, the buying and selling of clubs and corporate work in relation to businesses that serve the sports sector.
For this role, experience in the sports sector is not a pre requisite, but an understanding of the sector and the ability to demonstrate a desire to work in it will be an advantage. The ideal candidate will be an experienced solicitor with training from a highly regarded firm with a genuine interest in the business of sport.
