This position is a pivotal role in the Accounting & Finance department, with the main responsibility of managing and controlling costs within the business. You'll report directly into the Financial Controller and work alongside an Accountant.

Description
- Implement cost control measures to ensure operations remain within company budgets.
- Develop and execute cost reduction strategies for all departments.
- Monitor and analyse cost data and investigate cost variances.
- Support the preparation of financial reports.
- Collaborate with the finance team to forecast future spend.
- Ensure accurate cost allocation across various projects and departments.
- Liaise with department managers to formulate budgets.
- Support internal and external audits as required.
Profile
A successful Cost Controller should have:
- A relevant CIMA, ACCA, or ACA qualification.
- Costing experience gained within the Industrial / Manufacturing sector.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge of financial regulations and legislation.
