Description
- Developing and implementing cost standards for materials and labour.
- Preparing cost reports and presenting findings to management.
- Assisting in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.
- Conducting variance analysis to identify trends and make recommendations.
- Collaborating with procurement and operations teams to optimise costs.
- Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
- Participating in financial audits and implementing corrective actions.
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives within the finance department.
Profile
A successful Cost Controller should have:
- Be either qualified or qualified by experience
- Strong analytical skills with a detail-oriented mindset.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- The ability to work collaboratively and build relationships across teams.
