Cost Controller

We are seeking a Cost Controller for a growing business in the industrial / manufacturing sector. This role is ideally suited to someone who has prior experience in a manufacturing business with costing exposure.

Description

• Developing and implementing cost standards for materials and labour.
• Preparing cost reports and presenting findings to management.
• Assisting in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.
• Conducting variance analysis to identify trends and make recommendations.
• Collaborating with procurement and operations teams to optimise costs.
• Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
• Participating in financial audits and implementing corrective actions.
• Supporting continuous improvement initiatives within the finance department.

Profile

A successful Cost Controller should have:

• Be either qualified or qualified by experience
• Strong analytical skills with a detail-oriented mindset.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• The ability to work collaboratively and build relationships across teams.
