Key Responsibilities:
- Handle your own caseload of costs matters, including drafting schedules, bills, replies, and budgets.
- Competently negotiate settlement terms and attend detailed assessment hearings and Costs and Case Management Conferences (CCMCs).
- Deal with an interesting mix of bills covering Personal Injury, Housing Disrepair, and Credit Hire cases.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Costs Draftsperson or Costs Lawyer, handling your own caseload of costs matters.
- Proficient in drafting schedules, bills, replies, and budgets. Strong negotiation skills are essential.
- Sound understanding of costs law and procedures related to Personal Injury, Housing Disrepair, and Credit Hire cases.
