We are looking for a bright, energetic, result-oriented Country Manager to lead our Sales team in Dublin. The role will have the overall responsibility to manage, mentor and develop a strong Sales Team and take the lead by identifying opportunities to expand our geographical and industry vertical coverage.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Support myPOS Management, Internal & External stakeholders in decision making about Business Development Opportunities on the respective market and strategically place myPOS as the 1st solution for businesses, ISOs, ISVs;
  • Lead and Develop commercial strategic projects: Acquisition of potential Key Clients, New sector or Market Entry, Competition Response;
  • Research and release recommendation for new business sectors to support further expansion;
  • Help establish satellite offices in major cities of (country) to ensure sustainable growth in the country;
  • Create and Implement Sales campaigns;
  • Prepare, review and make suggestions on business plans, Submit monthly P&L to Management in line with the activities of myPOS in (country);
  • Help in the recruitment to build a team of sales people for myPOS;
  • Help in finding a good location for the myPOS Sales Office/Store.
  • Ensure that decisions made by the Board of Directors are executed and are supported by consistent planning;
  • Ensure that financial information is accurate and that financial and operational sales strategy is robust;
  • Own and hit/exceed annual sales targets within assigned territory and accounts;
  • Develop and execute strategic plan to achieve sales targets and expand our customer base;
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships;
  • Partner with customers to understand their business needs and objectives (listen to the VoC);
  • Effectively communicate the value proposition through proposals and presentations
  • Understand category-specific landscapes and trends;
  • Reporting on forces that shift tactical budgets and strategic direction of accounts;
  • Reports directly to Chief Commercial Officer and the Head of International Sales;

Main purpose of role:

  • Establish the myPOS Group sales strategy in line with the specifics of the respective market to maximize the company's growth potential;
  • Build a strong network of partners, distributors, key accounts and strategic relationships in the respective country;
  • Lead the expansion of the direct and indirect sales channels;
  • Build a strong team focused on direct sales;
  • Instill a culture of hard work, dedication, ambition, team work and loyalty;
  • Accumulate growth momentum to expand myPOS customer base while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction, optimizing the monetization of customer relationships;

Key Objectives:

  • Establish the overall sales strategic direction of the organisation with focus on continuous development;
  • Promote an integrated ethos throughout the organisation and foster a culture in line with our values that customers' focus is paramount;
  • Promote high standards of sales strategy and execution including the efficient and effective use of all available resources;
  • Promote the highest standards of professionalism and integrity in support of the organizations' values;
  • Develop in the organization's staff sales strategy for excellence and a commitment to deliver value for money;
  • Ensure high standards of corporate governance and financial management and control are observed at all times.

Personal experience and attributes:

  • Experience in FinTech, technology devices sales and economic regulation of markets and products, as a sales/Country Manager/business development director will be considered as a strong advantage;
  • Strategic understanding of a FinTech, strategy experience and proven sales and business development
  • 7 + years of managerial experience with a demonstrated track record of success in an international company;
  • A personal style that demonstrates authority, commitment and consistency, and inspires trust and confidence;
  • Willingness and ability to seek and challenge information to reach decisions;
  • Ability to operate effectively in fast-paced, matrix environment,
  • Open and impartial decision making, sound judgement;
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills;
  • Proven sales executive experience, meeting and exceeding targets;
  • Ability to communicate, present and influence all levels of the organization, including executive and C-level;
  • Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close;
  • Proven ability to articulate the distinct aspects of products and services;
  • Proven ability to position products against competitors;
  • Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills;
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills;
