Day to Day of the role:- Supervise secondary school students in the absence of their regular teacher, ensuring they remain on task with the work set.
- Provide assistance to students as needed, while not actively teaching the curriculum.
- Manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive learning environment in line with the school’s policies.
- Adapt to different educational settings and subjects, as you may cover various classes throughout the day.
- Collaborate with teaching staff and follow their prepared lesson plans to ensure continuity of education.
- Experience working within secondary schools or transferable skills.
- Charisma, energy, and presence to command a classroom effectively.
- Strong communication skills to interact with students and staff.
- Flexibility to adapt to different classes and school environments.
- A proactive approach to managing classroom behaviour and supporting students.
