ABOUT BAXCQC
BaxCQC was launched recently with a mission to streamline the journey providers have through the complexities of CQC registration and ongoing compliance, providing personalised guidance and ensuring our clients, both in the private and NHS sectors, meet and exceed quality standards. As a new business division, we are seeking a Service Manager who has a thorough understanding of the CQC, operational expertise and an entrepreneurial mindset to help propel this venture. This is a unique opportunity, playing a pivotal role in shaping the future of our service offer. You will have the chance to make a significant impact as we establish our presence in the market.
Specifically, our BaxCQC service offers CQC registration and regulatory compliance support.
- Registration support: Assisting clients in navigating the intricacies of CQC registration, ensuring they have all necessary documentation to streamline the process as well as practical support with registration.
- Compliance support: Proactively keeping clients abreast of regulatory changes, ensuring adherence to CQC standards, and fostering continuous improvement in care provision.
ROLE DESCRIPTION
This role will predominantly involve managing multiple clients and delivering top-quality CQC services to them. Additionally, it will encompass managing policies and key documentation required by CQC, close monitoring of any CQC or national regulation changes, as well as engaging in sales, horizon scanning, and other strategic activities.
The role will include:
- Project management: Oversee and manage all aspects of the registration process for each client, ensuring timelines are met, and projects are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Client support and management: Provide hands-on support and practical assistance throughout the CQC registration and compliance journey, while building and maintaining strong relationships to understand and meet clients' needs.
- Monitoring and reporting: Provide regular updates and reports to the board, regarding the progress of client projects, key performance indicators, and strategic initiatives, ensuring transparency and alignment with company goals and objectives.
- Document gathering for CQC: Using our suite of pre-made documents, assist clients in compiling and organising all necessary documentation required for CQC registration and compliance, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- CQC engagement: Act as the main point of contact with the CQC on behalf of clients, managing communications and addressing queries.
- Business plan development: Work with clients to develop comprehensive business plans that align with CQC standards and support their operational goals.
- Policy management: Ensure policies and procedures are up to date, compliant with current regulations, and clients are notified of any changes.
- Coaching and training: Educate and coach clients on CQC matters, helping them understand regulatory requirements and best practices for maintaining compliance.
- Sales and client acquisition: Identify and engage potential clients, presenting our services and securing new business opportunities to expand our client base.
- Contributing to strategic planning: Contribute to the strategic direction of BaxCQC, identifying opportunities for growth and innovation.
PERSON SPECIFICATION
As an ideal candidate, you will have:
- Management experience: You will have proof of experience in a management role within the health and social care sector.
- CQC knowledge: You will have a thorough understanding of CQC regulations and standards.
- Healthcare sector knowledge: You have a strong understanding of the UK health and wellbeing sector, including private markets.
- Organisational skills: You will be highly organised with the ability to efficiently manage multiple projects and tasks, ensuring all deadlines and regulatory requirements are met without compromising quality.
- Leadership skills: You will have strong leadership skills with the ability to guide, motivate, and manage teams effectively.
- Healthcare provider engagement: You will have the ability to engage professionally with a range of healthcare providers.
- Entrepreneurial mindset: You are a self-starter and have a passion for innovation and growth.
- Employee ownership: You can demonstrate understanding of employee ownership and commitment to Baxendale values.
PAY £50,000 starting salary, up to £60,000. The salary range for this position spans from focusing on delivering CQC services and managing client relationships at the lower end to encompassing strategic commercial activities such as sales and business development at the higher end.
RECRUITMENT PROCESS
