Main Duties

Creative Marketing Assistant

 

Department: Head Office, Marketing Department

Base at: Hybrid – Based at Head Office, Kentish Town London and from home.

Reports to: Head of Marketing

Collaborates: Internal: Marketing Team, Head of Digital + team, and Creative Director (founder).

External: PR Agency, Social Media Agency, Creatives/Media Partners.

Job Purpose Summary:

 

Escentric Molecules is a well-established privately owned Niche Fragrance brand with a cult

following for almost 20 years. The brand founded by Geza Schoen (Perfume Nose) and Paul

White (Creative Director) consists of a relatively small team based in London and Berlin with

an entrepreneurial, passionate and creative culture.

 

As the Creative Marketing Assistant at Escentric Molecules, you will play a vital role in supporting

our marketing team with creative initiatives and projects. Working in the marketing team, you will

contribute to the development of engaging content and campaigns that resonate with our target

audience. In this role you will be supporting across multiple projects and will ensure all project

documentation and trackers are up to date, whilst also being responsible for collating all assets and

supporting the preparation of documents.

 

Responsibilities:

• Content Creation: Working closely with the Content Editor to assist in the creation of

compelling and visually appealing content for various marketing channels, including social

media, email newsletters, website, and print materials.

• Copywriting: Collaborate with the marketing team to write clear, concise, and engaging copy for

marketing materials, including social media posts, blog articles, product descriptions,

advertisements, and other marketing collateral.

• Campaign Support: Assist in the ideation, planning, execution, and tracking of marketing

campaigns, including brainstorming creative ideas, coordinating assets, and monitoring campaign

performance. Additionally, you will play a crucial role by assisting on set during the shooting of

campaigns and digital assets. This includes coordinating logistics, ensuring smooth operations,

and facilitating effective communication between team members and external partners.

• Partnerships: Contribute to identifying and cultivating marketing opportunities that bolster our

business objectives, encompassing a diverse range of strategies such as events, PR initiatives,

influencer collaborations, gifting/sampling programs, and retail partnerships.

• Market Research: Conduct research on industry trends, competitor activities, and consumer

preferences to inform creative strategies and content development.

• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including digital, design, product, and

sales, to ensure cohesive and integrated marketing efforts that drive results.

• Administrative Tasks: Assist with administrative tasks as needed, such as scheduling meetings,

maintaining marketing databases, and product send outs.

• Media Asset Library updates and administration: Be the brand guardian of all assets sent out

to the distribution partners. Ensure that retailer websites are always up to date, with the correct

content, creative banners, assets, and copy to comply with Escentric Molecules brand guidelines.

 

 

Skills and Experience Required

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field.

• Previous experience in a marketing or creative role.

• Strong passion for the beauty industry and fragrance category, with a keen interest in creative

marketing.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey ideas effectively.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere

Pro) is desirable.

• Creative mindset with a flair for design and storytelling.

• Ability to multitask and prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.

Please note this is a graduate level role, with full time standard working hours.
