SalaryAbatec is assisting an award-winning, tier-one, civil engineering contractor with the recruitment of an experienced, freelance Health & Safety Advisor.
Our client is currently working on a major highways project in Devon and is seeking a Health and Safety Advisor with previous experience working within the Civil Engineering / Construction sector.
As a Health and Safety Advisor you will:
- Support and provide information to the site ensuring compliance with all requirements in the construction plans.
- Support investigations of incidents including close calls and near misses on site.
- Identifying training needs
- Assist in the production of Health and Safety plans, procedures, and associated documentation and check Compliance.
Our client is looking for a Health & Safety Advisor with:
- NEBOSH & IOSH, & relevant health and safety qualifications & certificates
- Sound Knowledge and experience of Civil Engineering/Construction Methods
- Experience working on highways projects
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to work to tight deadlines.
Salary/Benefits:
- 325 - 375 Inside IR35 / CIS
