Creative Teaching Assistant

Empowering learning require a Creative Teaching Assistant to work in a Primary School in Redhill. The role is 5 days a week Monday to Friday 8.30am-15:30 pm but may become permanent for the right person.

The school is very focused on supporting students on their learning journey.

• Hold a level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or relevant qualification and experience
• Previous experience as working as a Teaching Assistant or support assistant
• Be responsive, flexible and sensitive to the differing needs of pupils. Including those with SEND
• To support students with ASC and SEMH needs
• Experience of behaviours that challenge
• Be able to work 1-1 and with small groups
• Communicate effectively in a variety of situations
• Build and sustain effective working relationships with all members of the school community
• Work flexibly with a commitment to continuity and quality of education. Be focused and driven to ensure that all children fulfil their potential.
• Be able to communicate effective
• Experience of PECS and Makaton would be an advantage
• If you have a background of working in care then please apply due to transferrable skills
