Savant is proud to be supporting an industry leading organisation in their search for an experienced hands on Credit Controller/Accounts Assistant with previous experience of working in a busy finance department.
Reporting into the Financial Controller, the Credit Controller/Accounts Assistant will ensure accounts receivable are kept in line with relevant payment terms and to advise management when accounts go overdue. They are looking for a confident and outgoing individual to work (across the group) providing exceptional sales/purchases ledger administration and service delivery to our stakeholders
Primary Role Responsibilities;
- Creating and upholding payment procedures and policies that ensure timely payment.
- Chasing outstanding invoices by telephone, email and/or letter in line with the company policies
- Responsible for the posting and allocation of collections against customers Ledger
- Responding to client queries.
- Reconciling Customer accounts.
- Keeping close watch on debtor account balances.
- Reducing debtor days Sales Outstanding.
- Ensuring the team adhere to credit and collection procedures.
- Communicate regularly with clients and work as part of a team.
