This role: Hybrid Working
This role is internally known as Assistant Income Manager.
Salary: £42,639 - £44,883
Location: Farringdon, London
This is your opportunity to join an exciting and innovative Finance team in the role of Assistant Income manager. The role reports to the Income Manager and will provide a comprehensive Credit Control service to the business.You will have five direct reports with whom you will work to ensure that processes and controls are in place to enable all income to be accurately recorded in the finance accounting system and housing management system, as well as ensuring the timely recovery of aged debt. You will also deputise for the Income Manager in their absence.
What you'll need to succeed:
- Previous Managerial Experience
- Managing and collecting debts from company debtors to meet KPIs’
- Negotiating payment/repayment plans and setting up terms and conditions for debt recovery
- Monthly reporting of aged debtors including analysis of action plan for outstanding debts
- Strong communication, networking, negotiation, and influencing skills
- Process all transactions from our bank accounts web page so that they can be loaded onto our Cash Management System daily
- Ensure daily cash receipts from the companies bank accounts match the Receivables Bank Statement/cashbook
- Obtain Housing Benefit Schedules and payment schedules for payments made by the DWP to match the payments made by the local authorities so that they can be recorded onto the Housing Management system
- You’ll strive for continuous improvement and have an innovative approach to problem-solving.
- Previous housing experience.
