We have an exciting new role for a Credit Control department as a Credit Control Manager. This is a great opportunity for an experienced, senior manager capable of guiding and mentoring a Credit Control team as they manage incoming telephone calls and email correspondence with our customers, as well as outbound calls to support customers in payment difficulties and follow up on customer concerns.
We are looking for someone who not only understands the importance of ensuring we receive payment but is also an excellent communicator with the ability to listen and understand each case, applying the appropriate course of action as required.
Responsibilities
Your primary role will be taking a hands-on approach to managing the office-based team of Credit Controllers as they contact customers (past and present) who have outstanding debt on their account.
You will be required to investigate and fully understand individual customer accounts with the objective of resolving issues that affect their bills, helping them understand how to better manage their energy account, alongside arranging payment of ongoing usage and existing debt.
• Forming payment arrangements
• Communicating with customers and discussing their bills
• Communicating and reporting to internal teams
• Working with our debt collection agents and managing the allocation of debts to the agents.

Working Environment
This role will be office based, 5 days a week, 8 hours p/day
