Description
The successful Credit Control Manager duties include:
- Leading and directing the small Credit Control team
- Facilitating smooth cash flow and debt recovery
- Implementing efficient Credit Control processes
- Overseeing customer account details for non-payments, delayed payments and other irregularities
- Reviewing collection reports to ascertain status of collections and outstanding balances
- Maintaining contact with customers to ensure invoices are clear for payment
- Reporting to management on outstanding issues and recovery plans
- Ensuring compliance with relevant industry regulations
Profile
A successful Credit Control Manager should have:
- A degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field
- Excellent knowledge of Credit Control procedures
- Strong team leadership skills
- Proficiency in relevant accounting software
- Outstanding communication and negotiation skills
