Job Description
Morgan McKinley is looking for an experienced Credit Controller to join a great company based in the Redhill, Surrey area. The Credit Control - Debt Recovery specialist will be working as part of the Credit Control team responsible for ensuring that it collects its customer debts, securing the payment of monies owed. This is a temporary job opportunity to start ASAP.
Duration: 3 months
Pay rate: £13-15 per hour
Location: Office based, Redhill. 9-5 Monday to Friday
Debt Recovery - Credit Control duties:
- Ensure the Credit Control - collection procedures are administered correctly
- Maximise cash collections by ensuring payments to terms
- Review and prioritisation of ledger debt daily
- Timely completion of departmental processes and controls; workflow, cashflow, month end analysis etc
- Collection of manual Direct Debits when due, and act upon any rejected DD's immediately
- Continuously build and develop customer relationships
- Identify accounts for escalation and submit proposals
Skills and experience required:
- Proven experience of working in a Credit Control / Collections / Debt Recovery type role
- Excellent customer service skills
- Proven decision making and problem-solving skills
