Credit Controller
We have the exciting opportunity to join a national organization in the Redditch area. If you have experience within a debt collection, sales ledger, or credit control position this could be the perfect next role for you. The position would be working with vulnerable customers so experience with this would also be beneficial, you must be excellent at communicating with an empathetic approach.
Duties and Responsibilities for Customer Collection Advisor:
- Management of aged debtors chasing customers for outstanding debt for your designated region.
- Management of customer queries and processing them following the company query procedures.
- Liaising with client funders on aged debt issues.
- Notification of accounts applicable for Bad Debt Provisions, under company guidelines.
- Coding and inputting of weekly & monthly direct debit runs, along with customer communications.
- Collaborating with branch operations on client requirements and discussions around debt issues.
- Correct allocation of payments received.
- Reconciling accounts where required.
Experience and skills required for Customer Collections Advisor:
- Experience within a debt collection, sales ledger or credit control position.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Confident and competent with Microsoft office, particularly excel.
- Ability to travel to Alcester (must be able to drive due to location)
The position is full time Monday- Friday with one day WFH to be agreed. 23 days holiday plus bank holidays and further benefits to be discussed at interview stage.
