The Foxtons Property Management and Lettings Support department provides a variety of services for landlords and tenants. One such service is Credit Control and Rent Collection which ensures that where a landlord has instructed Foxtons to collect rent from their tenant that we are receiving the funds and querying when they are not paid.
Core responsibilities of the role:
- Contacting tenants at set, regular intervals by any and all means available (telephone, email, text) who have not paid their rent to determine the issue and obtain payment
- Ensure intervals are hit to make sure any court proceedings would be successful
- When required, attend court proceedings to provide evidence in cases pertaining to rent arrears
- Advise landlords of rent arrears and keep them informed until receipt of payment
- Provide landlords with clear explanations of procedures, timings, and available option
